I recently bought a Blessing Super Artist cornet from around 1947-48 and have been looking for the best mouthpiece for it. I've read that the 13 is the best but as these are hard to come by, I was wondering what would be close. I read somewhere that the 10.5 is close. Is this true? Thanks.

It's not a size issue. It's the shank. A 9,13 or 15 is all I've ever seen. Regular mouthpieces will work but with a wobble
