MURRAY GRIEG INTERVIEW

Hiya Guys and Gals!!

Murray Greig has done a glorious interview for my website….

Howard Snell's protégé, Principal Trumpet in London with the Royal Ballet, BBC Philharmonic, Halle, Opera North, Royal Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra as well as most of the major orchestras both in London and throughout the UK is the International Guild's host for the annual conference July 2-6th 2002 Manchester UK.

Mr.Greig spills the beans on his experience as a top orchestral trumpeter, trumpet coach for the National Youth Orchestra UK, Royal Nothern College of Music, Paris Conservatoire, involvement with the London Trumpet Sound [Maurice Murphy, John Wallace, Rod Franks etc…] and also gives us some insight into his research on brass playing and also his fondness for Golf / Beer / Curry / Manchester United Soccer club.[not necesarily in that order--hehe!!]

Enjoy!!!….

Yours Roddy o-iii<O

Another great job, Roddy! I like your consistent format -- it's interesting (and gettin' to be time consuming!) to compare backgrounds, viewpoints, tips, etc.

But, I thought we kicked you off the orchestral forum?

Keep it up, Roddy (as if you need any prodding...)! - Don
