The Ernest Williams School of Music no longer exists, but in the 1930's and 1940's, that school produced just about every first chair player and soloist with EVERY major band and orchestra in the USA. In fact, if an audition was taking place and a Williams student showed up, he was almost assured to get the gig. Williams had/has no peer in developing cornet/trumpet players.
