Anyone out have a Resonance Brass mouthpiece they would like to sell? I'm looking for a 1C or larger.

I've got a Resonance Brass 1 1/4C in gold plate and insertion marks on the shank as the only wear. Unfortunately I lost the technical literature that came with the mpc. As I recall, it didn't really tell you much meaningful about the throat and backbore, just maybe the rim diameter. I replaced my Mt. Vernon 1 1/2C with this piece and used it as my main piece for a good while. My recollection is that the rim diameters are the same as Bach (as much as that is possible).

Send me a PM or email at dctep@swbell.net if you're interested.

Dave

Dave,
I'm not sure what that size is equal to. It is like a Bach 3C?

Fortunately I keep a current production around the house for just such questions. To my lips the cup diameter seems just a little bigger with a slightly softer rim bite. The resistance is about the same. The RB is a little fuller in the staff and below, the 3C is slightly easier above high-C, although that's not the forte of either.

If you would like to consider it, I'd willing to let you try it for a week or so if you'd pay for Priority Mail postage. I don't keep 1Cs around any more, but I think it's between 3C and a 1C in rim diameter.

Hi Jim,

I've got a gold plated Resonance 1C that I would be willing to part with. It's in great shape with just insertion marks on the shank. I can send you pictures if you are interested. Email me at rjmorris61@comcast.net
