My wife and I went to Tanglewood this past Sunday.
The Boston symphony played Beethoven's Ninth.
What a great performance!
The trumpet section was very strong.
We sat off to the side on the grass in lawn chairs.
It was a hot day but we were in the shade.
Great sound, great place, great day out. |

I've never been to Tanglewood but I'd love to get there someday. It seems like the "anti-hatch-shell", not that I'm against Pops on the 4th or anything, but it seems to be more of an event rather than a "musical event". Tanglewood is all about the music. _________________ Bob Hill

I have spent five summers at Tanglewood in various capacities and it is ALL about the music. Tanglewood is by far my favourite place on earth. _________________ Zony |
