David,

I’m glad that you’ll be able to associate specific player names with the recordings that you have in your library. That’s what this project is all about!

all of my recordings come from longinotti's reign. i found out that the osr was his orchestra as i was in college when reading some data in an etude book of his.

I have Brandenburg 2 with Karl Muenchinger and Paolo Longinotti,
and the Haydn trumpet concerto.
Impressive...

Hi Derek, I hope your project is going well. I wanted to correct something I saw recently. In the OSR, there are 2 full-time principal trumpets. We are co-ordinated, which means we never have to play anything other than first and we never have to play on the same concert unless there are 2 first parts (1st cornet, 1st trumpet). What I'm getting at is, we both hold the title of Principal Trumpet. There is no Co-Principal trumpet. Thanks for your great work. Cheers.

Dennis,

Thanks for checking in and reviewing this list. It’s been quite a while since I’ve updated this information and now it’s cleaned up with your input. I’ve fixed the links so that your pictures are displayed again as well as the link to the OSM web page. Wow! What a beautiful hall you play in!

Thanks again!

Derek
