I stood there and watched this horn sell on ebay. I was hesitant to bid because the horn had a repair and some dents and I was being cautious.
Besides I currently have 11 horns right now and I really need to sell most of em anyway.
What do you guys think?
should I have NON buyer's remorse on this one?
Oh and BTW, there IS a dent in the bell as well.

...I don't see any reason for remorse on passing this one up...these come up fairly often without previous repairs and in better shape.

I guess that depends on what you were planning to do it repairwise after you bought it. I recently bought a horn like it but silver for $475--not on ebay. It is LB and was made in 1970 .You can't tell from the pics when that one was made. Mine has some scratches, signs of wear, and ripples and certainly is not in "pristine" condition. The valves work well and it plays well. I was lucky to have bought it from someone who is honest and knows horns. I plan on keeping this horn to play and will get it replated someday.

$475 for the Rare Large bores is a really good price... most people want at least 600 for them....

I passed up bidding because of the condition as well. Most of the good shape Severinsen models go for about $450-550
