I used to have a leadpipe for warming up, but it's disappeared. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can find one fairly cheaply? I just need one for warming up. Used is fine, as long as it's not too nasty... _________________ 6340S, Connstellation 36B, 38B, 38A, and 28A, Couesnon flugel, Blackburn C, Kanstul/Besson 920 picc, and a HUGE pile of Messina Covers gig bags |

A piece of plastic hose (aquarium air hose, or water hose) would probably work ok for starters. Don't use rubber -- might ruin the finish on your mouthpiece.
eBay is next, keeping in mind that the cheapest way to get a leadpipe for this is probably to bid $15 on all the junkie "lamp" horns listed.

Repair shops replace rotted pipes. You can usualy get one out of the trash. _________________ Bill Bergren |
