Wish me luck folks, I'm about to dare to venture where
mommies and daddies fear to tread!

In preparation for the new bed and mattress that's hopefully arriving next week, I'm going to sweep out everything that the kids have shoved under my bed! It will be a bold daring strike on my part - I must channel the Force to aid my calmness and serenity as I gently wield the Broom of Doom and bravely vanquish the foes!

I shall return and report later if there's anything left of me.

Onto Sunday's chores,

Barb

And luck indeed it appears I need! After setting off approximately 3 sticks of dynamite under the bed (note for humor-impaired, no I did not do this like that; what with 4 kids, I made certain they were in the bomb-proof shelter first).

But I digress.

I found the answers to the world-wide shortage of socks, spoons, missing homework and other assorted thingees that would look lovely in a still life.

I'm taking a break and playing my trumpet! That is, after I fix my site and do the 4 loads of wash and .....

........And you never realized dust bunnies could get so big!

I know what you mean. Cleaning under the bed is a scary endeavor...

Well I'm back from playing my trumpet and relaxed myself by doing some of the Arbans. My range is really improving - I can get a full A above the staff and a decent C, so I'm just practicing long soft notes and decreased mouthpiece pressure. Yesterday I played trumpets at Dillons that didn't have the slide bracing; does removing that make it decrease resistance? Logically it certainly would seem so....

Onto washload #3 and broomingSweep #24,

Barb

Put the dynamite under the kids, put the bed in the shelter and enjoy the peace?

I know EXACTLY what's under my bed...which is scary.

There's a hula hoop that I've had since 4th grade (and actually still use once in a while when I need to use up some energy and it's gross outside.), a rubbermaid 'under the bed' tub thing full of dolls, doll clothes, doll accessories...and then doll boxes (some with the dolls in them) of dolls that I've collected over the years.

There is also the occasional sock, shoe, purse, loose change, and/or shirt under the bed...but my Mom yells at me to clean my room and they don't stay there for long.

Good luck with the cleaning!

Lara

Good morning,

Mommies who can't sleep get up and work.

I just love being inspirational! Under the bed is now quite clean; the challenge is to ensure it stays that way until the two twin beds arrive (we opted for the adjustable foundation as my husband prefers different inclines. Fun-filled note - did you know just about all adjustable foundations are built by the same company and then marketing via different brandings?).

And I finally got my new blog to format properly - it's amazing what remembering some basic html can do for a life.

Some year I'll get back to sleep,

Barb
