From my previous posts in TH wherein I asked advice on how to play louder -- without damaging your chops -- I was refered to this forum and to Carmine Caruso's book called Musical Calisthenics for Brass.

Thanks to Sean Reisdorf, I was able to purchase this book through him and I just received it today.

Does anyone have any particular exercise(s) in this book that you would recommend that would be more focused on develping the chops toward playing louder?

Thanks much,

Liad

Read the thread Charly called "Getting Started". Just follow the instructions carefully and in 5 or 6 weeks you will really start to see a difference in your command of dynamics. None of the exercises are designed to work just on dynamics until you reach the fifth week. However, you will probably notice positive changes before that. Do not skip the other exercises and head straight for the exercises with dynamics. The preceding four weeks of work is an essential foundation to calisthenic practice with dynamics.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice.
