for college tournaments!!
So, BYU is #3 mens and #1 womens. Hopefully NCAA next week. Should be some good games.
But the real question...
who is going to the games? i will be in denver this week playing. Just wondering if anyone is going up either as a fan, or in the pep bands.
Well, if you are watching any MWC games, look for me, I am the crazy kid dancing the whole time. _________________ "All music is folk music. I ain't never heard no horse sing no song." - Louis Armstrong |

For a little added clarity, BYU men's team is third in your conference, but kudos for that accomplishment. I see your overall record is similar to that of my alma mater, Florida State, who has finally risen from being the dormat of the ACC to actually playing some pretty competitive basketball. Both the ACC tourney this weekend and the NCAA field of 64 ought to be a lot of fun to watch.
I always pay close attention to the pep bands when I'm watching games on television. I love to hear that brass-dominant sound ring out in those huge basketball arenas. I'll make sure I catch some Mountain West competition this weekend and listen closely. Have fun in Denver! |

I don't really care much for any sport. Sports are all boring to me. I prefer marching band. That's where the real competition is! _________________ Tyler Loveless

I would be at the tournament but the directers at my school, TCU, planned some stuff immediatly after spring break and wouldn't let us miss the two rehearsals by going on the trip to denver. I'm signed up for the NCAA if we get selected and it would be neat to meet up with some fellow TH'rs. _________________ Andrew Fowler

Yeah, I saw that. Midnight East Coast time... pretty late for us old men, but I'll give it a shot. Looking forward to hearing some screamin' coming out of the Cougar pep band! |

Hey, Matt: Congrats to the Cougars on making it to the Mountain West Finals... I stayed up listening and looking for you Thurs night, but there was absolutely no scanning of the crowd/pep band, at least through the first part of the first half. |

thats too bad. We have had some good air time on CSTV (college sports tv) but I don't know too mnay people that have that.
We made the final round. Well, the women did. We play utah, again. Hopefully we will have a better chance than the men did.
And looks like the men will have a NIT bid, so we will be playing those as well.
If you happen to see today's game look for us. _________________ "All music is folk music. I ain't never heard no horse sing no song." - Louis Armstrong |
