Harrelson modified 1 1/4 C SWE. Nice piece, fits my Bravura with almost no gap. Very efficient.

Recently, I purchased a Curry 90TF and love it.

I have been using a Marcinkiewic Shew 1.5 mostly for large jazz ensemble playing. It has been good for lead playing.

I also have used a Black Hill 7MD mouthpiece. I purchased this mouthpiece years ago in New York.

I sound great on a mouthpiece for about six weeks. That's why a change to a new one about every five weeks.

Ditto; can't say enough for this mouthpiece. And for a slightly mellower sound, the 1.75 is a bit deeper cup. Marc. puts out a tremendous mouthpiece in my opinion.

In the last 45 years of playing I've used everything under the sun!!!! I've ALWAYS used small diameter pieces and, up until about 10 years ago, bent dimes for a cup!!! My playing tastes have changed...I'm private teaching alot more...not playing lead etc...so I needed a more "all-around" type piece. I still use a small diameter but have gone to a deeper cup. I'm happy with the Reeves 40V/4.5 (or 5) sleeve that I've been using for quite awhile now. Surprisingly...if I have to...I could still play a lead gig on it but it wouldn't be my first choice...NOT becuase of it's depth...but because I'd want more cutting power. BTW...I'm a "do everything on one piece" type of player. I DO NOT switch cup depths every time I have a different type of gig. It probably doesn't work for alot of players but it does FOR ME!!!!

After a long safari that lasted "decades" I've settled on a Curry 3C. I'm actually very "tired" of buying / trying / & reselling MPC's anymore. (LOL) Horns too. Enough already. It's time to play music.

Use to play Best Brass 5C, now I am very happy with my Stomvi Flex 5D VR couple #4.5 or Flex 5GVR.
