I'm looking to buy a used Bach 72* for college. I have a 43* and love it, but I've always adored the 72* as well. Any good places to look where I can get something nice? I've been looking at one on the flip oaks site, but I want to look at some others as well. There was one in the marketplace on TH I was interested in, but the seller hasn't gotten back to me... _________________ 2005 Bach Stradivarius 43*

With your know-how about the horns, I would think E-bay would have something for you. _________________ Doug Walsdorf

Right now is the time to BUY on eBay. Summer lull occurs every year at this time; Generally runs from July 4 to Labor Day. Lots of folks on vacation and what not, not nearly as much bidding competition, and items have historically and consistently sold for less during this time, especially those listings by the inexperienced who end auctions during the weekdays.
Just a thought..... _________________ Sparks in Daytona

A Strad 72 lightweight just sold on Ebay about 10 minutes ago for $709. That was a good deal & it was purchased by HrnTrdr. I'm going to guess that is Steve Dillard from horntrader.com buying it up as a bargain so that he can resell it on his own site. I just checked & he has a ML 72* w/ 43 lead pipe listed for $1225. It has a different serial number that the one on Ebay.
$709 was a good price. I almost bid it on myself, but if my wife saw yet another horn come into the house..................
