Happy New Year!
I am interested in trying this mouthpiece. It seems to have a very very deep cup. Does anyone know about the spec?
What does WK stand for? I just could not figure out this abreviation.
If possbile, I would like to get any feedback on this MP if any one had a chance to try it.
Thanks.

WK probably stands for "Wick". The Dennis Wick cornet mouthpieces are WAY deeper than any other cornet mouthpiece out there. They are truly enormous. Maybe the "WK" series is Kanstul's version of a deep cornet mouthpiece, with a short shank. |

Ken,
I think Murray's right, especially since Kanstul lists the mouthpiece as a "replica".
Take a look at the Dennis Wick styles made by Marcinkiewicz at http://home.teleport.com/~mmpco/mpcat/mpcat13.htm
I play a 5*W and it's great. Very deep cup and large throat. Gives you that classic cornet sound.
