Folks,

Just wondering if anyone knows who did this brass quintet arrangement of 'Linus & Lucy' as performed by the Oregon Symphonic Brass? I'd like to purchase it if it's available.

https://youtu.be/mUnAnkicCgs

If not, can anyone recommend a seriously kick-ass arrangement, preferably with a recording for me to listen to?

Thanks!

-Dave

Hmm...

Search engine turned up this as the first hit, and it seems like it could be what you're looking for.

RandyTX,

I did see that, but it's not the same arrangement. The melody in the YouTube video starts with the horn and trombone. The melody in the watertonbrassmusic.com arrangement starts with trumpets.

Thanks for checking though!

That's a great arrangement. The tuba player should get a medal! I don't know who did the arrangement, but maybe you could email David Bamonte, who's a trumpet player in that group and also teaches at Portland State University, and ask him about the arrangement. Thanks for sharing the video!

My bad, I didn't look at it very close because I was using a smallish display device at the time.

I hope you find it, and if you do, would like to know the source myself.
