Can anyone find the Tarni-shield copper and brass polish?

On this side of the pond, Pledge is suggested by most techs I have asked. That's a spray furniture polish, so you probably have something like it over there. Apply lightly, let sit a few seconds, then wipe off. Don't let it dry or it will build up.

After a quick search, I only found the Pledge "Classic Beauty" spray, not the lemon (in Norway). Do you think it matters?

No, not really. Some prefer the lemon, but I've also heard the argument that the lemon may degrade the lacquer over time.

Wash, then Pledge, your "classic beauty"..

Just to sum up on the polishing products: Pledge furniture polish is great for lacquered horns. Tarni-Shield, Twinkle and Hagerty Silversmith's Polish seem to be popular for silver horns.

What should I do with vintage horns that have lost a lot of lacquer, though? Will Pledge do fine although much lacquer is gone??
