On some trumpets, you feel the horn vibrate in your hands as you play, more than on others. What is the reason for that? Is it the uniformity of tension, or lack of it?

thanks

I have a PhrankenPhlugel with very minimal bracing that vibrates in my hands like fine crystal. Seems to do it more on certain (resonance?) frequencies. I would guess lack of tension as you've framed the issue... no actual clue though
