Having played with Mr Soloff on some big bands and stuff,I can tell you that LOTS of sound comes out of that m bore..Cover the band wide sound(Porcino like)..When he lost a bunch of weight in the 90s,he thought he was losing some of the hi end(did a rehearsal with him where he wondered aloud about it) Didnt sound like that to me though.Great player,and love his jazz playing too..solos usually come with a surprise inside. |
