I have been looking around for a while for the mouthpiece I had in high school. Anyone know of or interested in selling a Giardinelli 6VM. Second question would be to know if there is someone who makes something equivalent. _________________ Yamaha 8340 EM

You might want to check out the Warburton 4SV or M, I think those
are pretty close.

Kanstul makes Giardinelli copies to the original specs. Here's the link:
http://www.kanstul.net/html/products/mouthpieces_modular.html
This is for the tops only. Call or email them regarding the backbores. _________________ Rick

My correction...the backbores are listed on the same page,. Just keep scrolling down and you'll find all the Giardinelli backbores there. You may want to try the top with a Bach or Reeves backbore that are also listed. _________________ Rick

I played a Giardinelli 3VM for a while years ago. They are really nice mouthpieces. I also had a 3V. These were much deeper than the Warburton SV series. |

I have a Giardinelli mouthpiece that I don't see listed on the Kanstul site. It's a 5M with a screw rim. The rim is not labeled. I've had it for over 40 years. I had the piece copied by Warburton years ago, but the copy, which I still have, doesn't play at all like the original. I'd like to have a copy made of my Giardinelli, just for insurance, but I'm afraid to let of it. I'm certainly reluctant to mail it. Bummer.

I use to play the Giardinelli 6M for many years, and I do have an available goldplated 6VM if you're interested. |

I've never played a 6M. Just the 5M, of which I can't find another. Giardinelli does make a mouthpiece they call a 5M, but it's nothing like mine. _________________ Bach Mount Vernon Bb
