It looks legit, just lazy. Best way to find out is to ask a few questions that only a person with the horn would know.
Personally, I'd be concerned by the "bubble rape," but it probably doesn't affect how it plays. |

what seems fishy? It seems like a fine sale, and not a bad price either. It might just be unfortunate that the guy doesn't have any seller feedback. I suppose that would make one wonder.
Just be aware of how long Paypal protects your investment. Don't let that go past a certain time limit.

It's probably not a scam, but I sure wouldn't bid on it. _________________ Jonathan Vieker

A brand new E3L-4 sells for $3,000 at Dillon's, and they don't come with D bell and slides. The extra bell and slides must cost at least $500 extra.
It seems to be a no reserve auction for a brand new $3,500+ horn by a 0 feedback seller.
If it seems too good to be true... |

Here is what the seller sent me via email when I asked him why he was selling the horn and how old was it.
"I bought it new several years ago. Played it
once. Plays in tune really well in all notes.
Dont play in orchestra anymore. Most of my work
is done in Bb, or C. So I dont need it. And I can
use the cash to buy other stuff. Sounds and plays
like a beautiful dream. I sold it to a buddy of
mine how knows me, and how well I take care of my
stuff. He's thrilled to get. Thanks for asking." _________________ Smith Watkins "Soloist" cornet with K2 and T4 leadpipes and Denis Wick RW4 mpc |
