Have tried for a few days to place a marketplace ad. Everytime I complete the ad, and hit the submit button, the form refreshes to empty, and does not accept the add - I'm back at square one.

I have pm'd trumpetherald twice, and no resoponse. Anybody else run across this in the past?? If so, what was the fix. Thank you!!

I had an issue a couple weeks ago trying to post a mouthpiece and gave up. Same issue.

Hmm, I tested it every way I could think of and couldn't make it fail.

Are you uploading images? What browser? OS?

Thanks,

I've been trying for days to list something. I'm using Firefox with windows Vista. Same thing happens, comes back a blank screen, seems like the listing request never goes through

td,
Yes, am uploading pics. I do it through the standard "Upload images" section of the ad building form. Are there any restrictions that could cause a hiccup? I've not rec'd any error messages.

Am using Win XP Pro/SP3, and IE 7.0.5730.13
Thanx!

If both of you could first try placing your ad without any images and see if that works, that would be useful.

After placing the ad as text-only, then try adding the images one at a time and see if it works that way.

My best guess is that something (Apache) is timing out waiting for your images to upload.

Let me know what happens ...

tptherald,
Thanx!
Though I didn't do it the same as you recommended, I downsized the pictures (Darn XX Gigapixel cameras!!) to 1024x768 so that their filesize was much smaller, and voila! - It worked. Hopefully, I'll remove one horn from the signature soon.
Thanx agin!

OK, that's great.

I'll see if I can make some adjustments ...

When I try to place an ad on the marketplace, I either am told that my password is not valid, or it asks for a pin number--where do I get that?

The first time it asks for a PIN, you provide one of your choosing, then use it after that.
