As long as the valve operation does not suffer (by bounceback or slow rebound) there is no harm in using light springs. I replaced the springs in a Besson Kanstul with lighter Yamaha springsand the horn did not lose any of its sound or character.

This quote is from an older thread, and while reading it, I was wondering
which light springs could fit except the Yamaha? Schilke maybe?
I am looking for a similar replacement for my Kanstul FB Marvin Stamm horn as I find the original springs a bit too stiff.
So which ones would you recommend?

Contact the Kanstul company directly. They have super light weight springs that are great.
