Sometimes (not all times) my lower lip starts sort of a buzz when I am playing a note above middle C on the staff, such as a D, E or F. It is almost like saliva is forcing through my lips. It is very slight.
I've only been back 7 weeks after a 50 year layoff, so not sure how to correct this or what causes it. Any suggestions will be appreciated. |

it's difficult to say what could cause that. it's normal for a little air to escape sometimes, but that usually occurs in the lower register when the embouchre is more relaxed.
it could be that your chops are too relaxed in the upper register, and the air, under higher pressure, is escaping. can you make a tighter seal with your lips, and prevent the air from escaping? |

Sounds like you might be talking about what is called "double buzz." Use the 'search' function & you should find lots of posts. |
