Hey people!

I'm looking for a good mute. Easily obtainable and the cork on the mute doesnt fall off tat easily.

Any recommendations?

Btw, how does copper/brass/aluminum mutes help in the tone of the trumpet?

thanks

Any TrumCore mutes.

There's no need to adjust your tuning slide because the mutes always play in tune. It's amazing. They're kind of expensive, but it's totally worth it.

What do you already have?

Corks falling off or degrading is not uncommon, especially in older Humes and Berg straight mutes. They seem to get the most use over time.

I've picked up a few, and the old reliable HB straight and cup mutes are my preference. In straight mutes I have copper and aluminum Wicks, Bachs, Tom Crowns and a bunch of plain ones with no markings. I don't like the metal ones, both for the weight and variety of tone.
