|For Sale is a Early Fullerton Olds Ambassador serial number 230xxx. According the serial number charts online that places this horn being made in 1957. Fun fact - Olds changed the pinky ring and bracing in 1958.|
This is an awesome cornet! All valves and slides are in great working order. The valves feel so great which makes this horn so nice to play. I get such a dark sound on ambassadors and this one is no exception. It worked great in my local brass band, blending well with the other conical instruments. I love the early engraving on this cornet. It is like the LA model but with sharper lines. It is mostly raw brass, and I can tell someone stripped it at an earlier date. This horn just feels good in my hands though.
There is 1 small dent and No major damage! It was just cleaned and is ready to go. Shipped in an Olds ambassador trapezoid Hard Case. Can remove case to save shipping costs! This case is so cool though, Im sure you will want it. I have never seen a case in this shape before, but seems very protective. The case is in great shape. Check out my close up picture of the ambassador emblem! Comes with the standard Olds 3 cornet mouthpiece.
