I am selling a vintage Conn "Perfected Wonder" cornet. The serial number is 103137, which according to the Conn website, dates the horn to approximately 1907-1908. The cornet comes in the original case with all original accessories including, key of A tuning slide, lyre and attachment, mute, mouthpiece, and cleaning rod. This perfected wonder model does not include a slide linkage that is sometimes referred to. The cornet is playable, and is in decent shape considering it is over one hundred years old. It does have the usual old trumpet case smell. The plating is not 100% and there are a couple of minor dings. They don't show particularly well on the photos. Slides and valves are free and operational. Buyer pays shipping. Paypal preferred.
Category: Cornets and Flugelhorns
Item price: $385.00
