Hello all!
My name is Sam Tate. I'm a graduate of Daniel Boone High School. I have been playing trumpet for about nine years. Right now I'm pursuing a Undergraduate degree in Music Education from Penn State University. I have auditioned into County Band, Orchestra, and Choral festivals, as well as District Band and Chorus, and PMEA Region V Band. I play with the Reading Philharmonic Orchestra and Wyomissing Band when my school schedule permits. Currently, I give trumpet lessons in the Birdsboro/Douglassville/Reading Area. I do make house calls if nessesarry. I charge $10 a half hour or $20 dollars an hour. Any gigs or playing opportunites are welcome. I can sightread very well (haha... there have been some situations that I thank God for that ability), transpose, arrange, and fill in when needed. My range is from low F# to a comfortable D/E above the staff. I play on a Warburton 3MD for all around playing and a Monette B2L for lead work. I play on a Bach Strad 43LR, Benge 90C and a Yahmaha YFH6310Z Bobby Shew Flugelhorn.
