| I have a B.M. in trumpet performance from UL-Monroe. At that institution I studied with Marilynn Gibson, who studied with Haynie at UNT. I performed regularly in the Monroe Symphony Orchestra and was principal in the University Symphony, student Brass Quintet, Wind Ensemble, etc. I earned the Performer's Certificate, played on master classes with the late Armando Ghitalla (Boston Symphony Orchestra - principal 15 years), Rex Richardson and Wiff Rudd of Rhythm & Brass, and participated in numerous other performance situations. I am currently living and working in Houston, actively seeking gigs, and serving in the 156th Army Band of the Louisiana Army National Guard. |
