Started playing trumpet in 1969. Had to back off from playing with high pressure due to hole blown in right lung from pushing too hard for range. I was 8 years old at that time. Moved into lower brass which required less pressure but greater volume. Continued playing trumpet but didn't push for range. Added Trombone 1973, Tuba 1974, Baritone/Euphonium 1976, French Horn 1980. Performed with the Sixth Army Band 1984-86 on Tuba. Maryland National Guard Band 1993-98 on Euphonium.
Now I'm just a come back player who enjoys practicing and collecting professional vintage horns to return them to playing condition. |
