| Hello. My name is Evan. I am in college, and have been playing trumpet since fifth grade. I just bought a new trumpet over the summer. It is a silver-plated Yamaha Z professional trumpet (model number YTR-8310S). The trumpet has little resistance and is very lightweight. It is well worth the $1,400. I use a Schilke 14A4A mouthpiece, and plan to move to a mouthpiece with a more shallow cup, such as a Schilke 12A4A. I have enjoyed playing with numerous bands throughout my school career, and wish to continue playing trumpet for the rest of my life. |
