I play cornet in a brass band, produce and license music for the media and entertainment industries, do clinics and sectionals and local schools, and am a sales associate for Peninsula Music and Repair in Palo Alto, CA.
I also freelance and do recording work occasionally, and mostly enjoy playing in chamber settings. I have some special interests in early music and jazz as well, perhaps because they are both improvisatory in nature.
As for background and training, I have a masters degree in music performance from the USC Thornton School of Music and have studied with Boyde Hood, James Dooley, Graham Ashton, Jod Faddis, and Tim Morrision. |
