| I've been playing for 43 years, semi-professionally for the last 15. Member of AFM Local 180. Currently play in a 6 piece Dixie band, an 8 piece traditional jazz band, Conduct and play in two community bands, and arrange for all. Led, played in, and arranged for a big band for 20 years until work pressures interfered in my play time. Also played for a while with the Maple Leaf Brass Band out of Ottawa Ontario. I have a small collection of trumpets which I am thinning out. Preferred trumpet is either an Olds Super Recording or King Super 20 Symphony and use GR Tech mouthpieces. Still searching for that elusive combination. |
