Who am I? Recovering eBay/web addict, lawyer, former naval officer (& Gulf War vet), and modest amateur trumpet player with "much to be modest about" (apologies to Winston Churchill).
THEN (> 20 years ago): school band/private lessons but no "formal" music studies.
NOW: Community band, a rock band, a big band, small ad hoc ensembles, a small church choir.

I am (reluctantly) on the road to recovery from an addiction to eBay (userid "unluckylady282"), and to vintage Olds, and I still have a few Olds trumpets (1938 Super; 1947/68 Ambassadors; 1976 P-12 Custom) and cornets (1931 'The Olds'; 1937 Super; 1948 Ambassador; 1952 Recording).
My wife said "No more trumpets"; she never mentioned cornets or flugels........ |
