I have been performing professionally since 1971. I have performed for three U.S. Presidents. I have also performed with many jazz/big band greats, including Phil Urso, Herb Ellis, Bob Haggart, Clyde Reasinger, and Helen Forrest.
I was friends with Harry James, and make NO apologies for believing that Harry James was the greatest trumpet player who ever lived!
I am currently performing a Frank Sinatra/Harry James tribute on the West Coast.
I play a Superchops 3 mouthpiece that has been modified by Ken Titmus at Warburton, to duplicate the Parduba mouthpiece that Harry James actually played. I am also playing a Stomvi USA #27 these days. |
