NEW for the summer of 2012, Barnfield Inc. brings you the latest in instrument protection. A custom molded silicone material for all bell/rimmed musical instruments.
· Helps maintain the finish and shape of the bell area under normal use.
· Helps reduce scuffs & dings.

· Especially useful during marching season and practice.
The musical rim protector is designed to help reduce impact damage and abrasions on rimmed instruments. The molded rubber product is sized to fit each instrument from brass to woodwind by slipping over the rim of musical instrument. The products are molded with enough elongation to fit most manufactures musical instruments.
The product creates a protective rim-barrier with the clear protector having minimal visual distraction. Colored rim protectors are also available.
The rim protector has been tested by several Band Directors and thus far has NOT affected the tonal quality of the emitted sound. The silicone was engineered to have an air gap around the bead so it still resonates. This is NOT a mute.
