Freelance trumpeter in the Nashville, TN area since 1987. Have performed all styles, including classical/symphonic, pit orchestras, show bands, big band and small group jazz, and recording sessions. Have played E-flat cornet with Mr. Jack Daniel's Original Silver Cornet Band since 1992 and currently manage the band in addition to performing.
I am a private trumpet instructor to middle and high school students in the Nashville area and am adjunct trumpet instructor at Trevecca Nazarene University. I earned a B.M. in Applied Music from the University of Kentucky (student of Vincent DiMartino) and a M.M. from Arkansas State University where I was a graduate assistant. (student of Richard Jorgenson)
I am also an arranger/composer of music for brass and various ensembles. |
