My name is Jason Browne and I have been a profession musician for 16 years. I graduated from the University of Houston, and had a number of day jobs in addition to teaching lessons in the evenings.
July 2015 my wife and I started JB's Music School in League City, TX. We started with 55 students. The school had 98 students at the end of the first year!!! We wanted to offer more to our students than just music lessons. We wanted to help our students become upstanding men and women. I always believe that the success of our nation starts with the family. If we can help a family become better, the communities we are in will become better. So, we are offering a dining etiquette class from time to time to work on simple table etiquette among other things.
We believe that parents should be involved in their child's music advancement. There needs to be that sense of pride in seeing their child practice along with performing. The biggest reason we perform is for the recognition. The second is to get all of our creativity out of our body. Most of us are pent up and we need a release.
So, that is why we opened the school. To help families and communities! |
