Does anyone know how much the new Yamaha Malone trumpets will cost and when they will be available? |

You can get one now - set an appt at the Yamaha Custom shop with Malone. Cost is the horn + modifications.
As for a production line instrument. They shouldn't be too much more than other production line horns...only better.
Bach offered Malone a job but didnt want to have him make any changes to their horns and dint want to pay him wither. Their loss. Look for the Yamaha Malone horns. Call Yamaha for more info. |

At a MENC conference last January, I asked a Yamaha rep about the Malone horns and he didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Are these horns out yet? I mean officially. I would like to try one. Bob Malone is the best. |

Every couple of years Yamaha claims to have made a superhorn "plays like a Yamaha, sounds like Bach." First we had the Heavy Wall, then the Mark II, then the Xeno.
I'll believe it when I see it - or more importantly "play it."

Exactally! Why? When they can sound and play so much better than a Bach.
There is no production line Maloned Yamaha yet. But there will be soon! And if you cant wait, call the Yamaha custom shop in Grand Rapids and set up an appt to have him make you a custom one. "Him" as in Bob Malone! |
