Found these 3 short clips posted by a fine trumpeter in his own right and a really nice guy, William (Bill) Bing. Hope you enjoy them, and let Bill know if you did.

Bill:

Thank you for posting these videos. I remember well when he lived in Whittier, CA and I studied with him for about 2-3 yrs. I went to high school just around the corner from his house in Friendly Hills, Whitter, CA. We would usually sit in his kitchen and do mouthpiece buzzing.

Unfortunately I didn't know how good I had it back then studying with such a master and a very special human being. Again, thank you for posting these.

Good to see you on here, shofar (Rog). What many don't know is how good this cat is: lead, classical (Corona Symphony), shows, funk, and he just never tires... except when he hasn't eaten. You don't want to see that

I've been doing Stamp stuff for about 6 months and haven't looked back, helping me more than I hoped.
Thx for these vids!

He had the uncanny ability to analyze a problem and create an immediate (not to mention lasting) solution without you realizing that he was even addressing the problem in the first place. Clearly one of the best teachers I ever had.

OP clips no longer work. Not surprising a decade later. I recently came across a brief recording of Stamp playing basic exercises alone, now I can't find it. Great, fluid tone. Any help?
