I'm trying to track down the history behind an old horn that I have. It's a Holton, but has Made in France stamped on it. I cannot find any history on the Holton company showing that any trumpets were made in France, only in Chicago. The serial number dates it to around 1912. Can anyone shed some light on this trumpet? Is it really a LeBlanc and maybe Holton had some of his horns imported way back then?
