I would have to say that New York Legends by Phil Smith is my favorite classical solo CD I have. I also like Wyton's Carnival for sheer amazing technique. Vizzutti's Carnival of Venus and Clake's old old CD are great too for the same reason.

I've been on Hakan Hardenberger's "Virtuoso Trumpet" CD for a while now. His musical espresiveness is unmatched. His recordings of the telemann concertos are special favorites as well. |
