ITG 2013 will be dedicated to the memory of Bud Herseth

The ITG 2013 conference will be dedicated to one of the all time greats and masters of the trumpet, Adolph "Bud" Herseth.

We are excited to announce Chris Martin, principal trumpet of the CSO, will be making a special guest appearance during Barbara Butler's recital on Saturday, June 15. Chris will be premiering a new work by James Stephenson for trumpet and strings in memory of Adolph "Bud" Herseth.

The final concert featuring trumpet "All Stars" with trumpet great Arturo Sandoval will also be dedicated to Mr. Herseth. The concert will open with testimonials to Mr. Herseth by former colleagues and friends.

Let's make this conference the biggest and most successful to date, in honor of a music and trumpet legend, Adolph "Bud" Herseth.

I'm looking forward to be there and enjoy the presence of so many good artists and students.
I'm also looking forward to introduce a new practicing device that I've been working on for a number of years.
