I think the improved accuracy results from several factors: all the piano work forces the player to internally catalog where the pitches are, and the mouthpiece work in conjunction with the piano creates that connection between the abstract (piano) and the concrete (trumpet). I also think accuracy improves simply because, if done properly, the Stamp studies lend to an evenness throughout the entire range of the trumpet. If every starts to be comfortable, even, and fluid, better accuracy is pretty much a given.
