DEAR FRIENDS:
SOME DAYS AGO I SEE A TRUPETER OF THE AREA PLAYING A DOUBLE HIGH C WITH OUT WARMING UP. HE TELLS THAT LARN THE CONCEPT ONLY TAKES 5 MINUTES HE USES THE JEROMES STUFF IN HIGH REGISTER. IM NEW INTHIS TOPIC DOES ANY ONE CAN EXPLAIN IN BASIC DEATILS HOW IT WORKS AND WHICH EXCERCISES ARE RECOMENDED. ANY HELP WILL BE VERY APRECIATED. There is a very "slim to none" chance of playing a double high C after 5 minutes of applying Jerry's principles. |

Felix, Please stay tuned. As this forum is just getting started, you can expect to see much information on Mr. Callet's important embouchure "Secrets" added in the coming weeks. But just as HisTrumpet explains, no one should expect any of these secrets to be an immediate "quick fix". Certainly no one should ever expect five minute results. However...Jerry likes to tell of a first time student with a lisp who happened to have the tongue usage tendencies to quickly grasp this method. He even has a before and after tape of this fellow. |
