Is that legal? That book is still sold and is quite pricey these days. I downloaded a copy from that Univ of Arizona link, though, because my son now has my copy at school and I miss it. I used to play out of it daily.

Yeah, not exactly legal. Like, not even a little bit. I mean, it's nice of you to post this, but the book isn't THAT pricey. Two weeks of Starbucks, maybe.

It is pricey enough that I would do without rather than buy a 2nd, new copy. I have kept watch for a used one but they are not common.

Good Lord, who can afford to shop daily at Starbucks??

You can purchase a (what I believe to be) legal digital edition of Charlier from qPress for $19.99. There are many other great trumpet method/etude books available at qPress as well: Bitsch, Clarke, Franquin, Gatti, etc.

I still have my original copy I purchased in 1972.
Although it is a bit worse for wear,
I am missing the first page and the last page
etude number 1 and etude number 36.
