|
|
I am trying to update my email on the TH profile. It will not let me do that---it tells me that the updated email already belongs to another user. That other user is me, but I don't know what my original username was. I have since registered with another user name, but the email address it uses is incorrect..Is there a way to retrieve my original username. If so, I can correct my email address. How do you contact an administrator? Thanks |

As John said, only the sysadmin can help. PM username trumpetherald. _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

I have the same issue. I tried to update my user profile, "iiipopes," when I moved and got a new email after my divorce. I contacted the administrator.
I GOT ABSOLUTELY NO REPLY AND HAD TO SET UP A NEW USER PROFILE.
I AM QUITE DISGUSTED. _________________ King Super 20 Trumpet; Sov 921 Cornet

Only one guy does all the admin duties for this site and he has a full-time day job plus various gigs (he's primarily a trumpet player and teacher, not an IT guy). If he is out touring or whatever responses can be delayed, and with the many emails it is easy for one to get lost. Sometimes you have to try a few times, disgusted or not, and cut the guy some slack. _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

I have...for a year...I will suffer through with my modified avatar, and try to retrieve old posts as necessary otherwise. _________________ King Super 20 Trumpet; Sov 921 Cornet
