Hi all.
I've heard a lot about Bill Adam from other players in London, although I've never done it myself.
Would really like to look into it.
How would an advanced player approach it and start using it?
What order do you do the exercises to cover everything?
The reason I ask, is that I understand there are different versions of the routine
tailored for different folks which makes sense, but covers a lot of aspects of playing which would be useful to me.
Indeed, Bill Adam I hear was a fantastic teacher and highly respected. The players I know who use this routine speaks for itself!
Look forward to your posts.
Best wishes always.

Great book that will answer your questions written by Los Angeles Trumpet Player Charley Davis.

This approach isn't about the specific exercises you practice. It's about the way you play them, the kind of tone you pursue as you play them, and the way you think as you play them. The best thing you can do is get together with someone who understands this approach and get started. I recommend you try to spend some time with Tom Walsh or Reuben Fowler.

Also, check out their facebook group called Trumpet Tuesday!
