Just found out about the website on facebook couple days ago,
Looks pretty promising to me
BTW theres a giveaway going on and free shipping if u buy tmrw
Soo just looked on the reviews and my hands are kinda itchy haha should i add another horn to my collection? It will be my first vintage horn

If you have a SVT horn how does it compare to something like strads , xenos etc
All reviews will be greatly appreciated ~
Cheers

From what I've been able to tell from the guy's FB page and what he's posted on all the groups, they're just Olds Ambassadors where he removed the bell-to-leadpipe braces, adds some fancy finger rings, and maybe some Harrelson gadgets. I'd rather save my money.

Some of the horns are Olds Ambassador's (quite often LA horns, which are super), but Chris' vintage stock is always rotating and there's a lot more than just Ambassadors. I bought a 1936 Martin Handcraft Imperial there for a very reasonable price, and it's a real player! Don't be too quick to judge.

I'm sure they play just fine, I'm not disputing that at all. For me, though, I can probably accomplish 90% of what he does with a $20 butane torch. He makes some nifty finger rings that I don't have the skills to do, so there's that.

My point was more that he also has interesting vintage horns that are players. My HCI didn't have anything modified about it, apart from removing the remaining 10% of lacquer. The modified Ambassadors won't be for everyone.

Best,
Mike

Point taken! My main player is a 1928 Conn 2B, so I can definitely appreciate that aspect of what he does.

Actually i was interested at for mostly two reasons :
Comes with chem cleaning and all that jazz( not really needed cuz i have a tech friend)
The other one is cuz i literally live on the other side of the world AKA asia and dont have many means to get those vontage instruments and trade em 1 by 1

Ill be considering other horns , maybe modern ones but have my eyes on vintage ones cuz i havnt had one yet and would like to try one

The finger rings look to be plumbing fittings....Some even have the internal threads still on them. Same with the copper ballister braces on some of the horns.
