For those of you that might be in the Phoenix area on Oct. 1 and 2, I would like to invite you to attend a free recital and master class by Rob Frear, professor of trumpet at Cal State Long Beach. Rob is a seasoned orchestral player and freelance musician who is a specialist in newer music for trumpet.
Here is the information:
Sunday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 pm --- Arizona State University (School of Music Recital Hall, 5th floor): Master Class (coaching several students, plus a lecture on audition preparation)
Monday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 pm ---- Arizona State University (School of Music Recital Hall, 5th floor): Recital accompanied by Dr. Miriam Hickman
Free parking after 7:00 pm in the large Gammage parking lot across the street from the music building. The music building is located at 50 E. Gammage Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281. I hope to see you there!
