Hello.

I'm looking for a PDF of the trumpet parts in D for:
Händel's Messiah (not Mozart version).

Do you want to perform o more movements than in the Mozart? I believe the Schirmer Pub has parts for more movements, plus expanded instrumentation, like horns, clarinets, trombones and the like. I have a copy of the trumpet parts but they're in Bb. Anyone want to do The Trumpet Shall Sound on their Bb?

Also check out IMSLP

PM Sent - I have the part for the Hallelujah Chorus, but it's the only one I have.

I would have loved to have had both a D trumpet and the D trumpet parts a couple of years ago when I did "Worthy Is The Lamb/Amen" - I did it that year on Bb, which is never a great choice for anything on the Messiah. I pretty much nailed it that time, but four sharps in that range always makes it more of a challenge than I'd like.

I can’t find it there

Beneath where it says "Oboe 1" you have to click "9 more" to see the rest of the parts. There are a couple of editions, one with parts in C, one with parts in D. The D parts don't appear to be from a standard edition so I'd check them before using them.

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I can't find D parts for any of this stuff - I have found Bb and C parts, but not D.

Sorry, you're right, both versions are in C -- my recollection of the second one was that it was in D, but I was wrong.

Under the Arrangements and Transcriptions tab there are a few entries that include the Finale files. Assuming the trumpet parts are similar, that should facilitate creating transpositions into any key.
